Over the weekend I tried to follow a Bob Ross video and this was the result.

Eggs Over Easy

My goal for this art work was to create a realistic piece while making it fun and colorful. I achieved this by really looking for the shadows and different colors throughout the piece. I like the way the shadows and the reflections of the eggs turned out. If I had a do- over I would try to take more time on the shape of the eggs and create a more realistic shape. I like the way the blue egg turned out and I like the shadows and reflections the eggs created. Overall I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

My goals for this artwork were to create brightly colored cups, and make it realistic. I did this by seeing the basic shapes the different colors created and then seeing the reflections in the cups. My painting was about creating a realistic composition that's colorful and bright. If I had a do-over I think I would spend more time smoothing out the paint and creating a more realistic background. The cups are also different heights so I would've made more time to make the cups more even when I was sketching it out. Overall I really like how the cups turned out and my favorite thing about it is how the highlights in the cups makes them look more realistic.
